Organic Carbon Soil R&D Update

UNITEC of New Zealand’s Department of Natural Science and The University of Auckland commenced during Q3/2008 what may be a 5 year project on determining how EcoCover, compared to 9 other ground cover products may build soil carbon thus sequestering CO2 and mitigating climate change. EcoCover believes this research project to be the first of its kind in the world, certainly the most comprehensive, and investigates the newly emerging science of the importance soil can play in remedial climate change.

Click this link for an overview as to why EcoCover, after 2 years of independent trials is now prepared to undertake a comprehensive scientific investigation of what we think may be a unique attribute of the EcoCover landcare system compared to most other ground cover and weed management systems used globally.
